Conditions of Entry

  • Entries close on Wednesday 25th March 2026. Entries after this date may be accepted, subject to payment of a late entry fee of £3.00.
  • Entries on the day, without prior contact, may be accepted at the controller's discretion, but acceptance cannot be guaranteed.
  • In all disputes the decision of the congress controllers will be final.
  • Addresses will be stored on a computer for sending out future congress entry forms and players grades will appear on the ECF web site.
  • Players without a current grading must indicate on the entry form their best previous results or any grading ever held.
  • All mobile phones / alarms must be turned off. 
  • Ungraded players are not eligible for grading prizes.   Confirm
  • Results will be forwarded to the ECF for rating purposes.
  • Photographs may be taken, please advise the controller if you do not wish to be photographed.
  • Parents should take responsibility for their children.
  • Competitors are requested not to re-play or analyse in the Tournament Hall.
  • Please reposition pieces and reset clocks once your game is finished.
